Tonbridge School: Outreach Art 2011

Tonbridge School: Outreach Art 2011

This year the Art Department has been as busy as ever and has enjoyed being host to both local and not so local schools coming to participate in some exciting printmaking workshops.  We have catered for students of all ages and abilities, with activities ranging from monoprinting from a selection of natural forms, screenprinting T-shirts, through to 12 foot screenprinted banners inspired by Daniel Craig Martin!  The work can then be taken away, worn, or displayed in their schools.  Where schools have experienced problems travelling to us, we have taken the necessary equipment to them.  The sessions last for approximately 2 hours. These sessions always seem to fly by but the overriding feeling is that all participants have had fun and most importantly want to do more printmaking!
